Applying for Erasmus+ Programme

The program is Credits-Earning Program, and it is established between two universities: Sofia University - St. Kliment Ohridski and Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.

Long story short, I read about the scholarship on a brochure that was posted or broadcast somewhere-I-do-not-remember. TBH I was not interested at first, because my goal was to graduate and receive my bachelor degree asap ⌛. Then, one of my lecturer explained to me about the program, what I am supposed to do, and what is covered by "the grant". Considering the amount of precious experience that I will possibly received by joining this program, I was suddenly motivated. 💪👱

It was not that simple, because I had to fulfill all the required documents, meet the qualification, and do some selection procedures.

this is the brochure that I previously mentioned, credit goes to the person who designed it

Administratively, I met all the requirements that were asked. Then I had to follow the next steps. They were departmental interview and institutional interview. The questions asked were basically about: how I would survive, how could I manage the culture shock, what contribution I could possibly give to the program, etc etc.

I do not remember how many days did it take until the announcement was published.
But here it is:
YAY! 🎉
I was chosen to be one of two students to join the credits-earning program in Sofia University - St. Kliment Ohridski.

I was so grateful, well, I am. 👼

Few days later after the announcement was published by UMP, the coordinator of Erasmus+ Programme in International Relation Office of Sofia University - St. Kliment Ohridski sent me an email, telling that I was selected to join the Student Mobility, and the communication that was previously established between two universities by then was done directly by SU-IRO and me.

The name of my coordinator in UMP is Mr. Novan and my coordinator in Sofia University is Ms. Desislava Ivanova. Both of them have helped me a lot during the Pre-Mobility 😭 (Thank YOU, so very much!)

Ms. Ivanova herself has helped in so many things, for instance, when there was a new regulation saying that my VISA should be supported by purchased ticket (read the complete story, here). She also helped me in my application form, and even after arriving, she helped my in making my bank account.
May God bless them both 🙏
Amen! 😃

Well, I believe this is the end of this post.
See you on my next post.
Ciao!
